HAPPY HOUR

My graduate collection is a women's and menswear Spring Summer collection celebrating the spontaneity of an unexpected night out. Creating the feeling of sitting in the Italian evening sun after a day working in the city, drinking cocktails and not knowing where the rest of the night is going to take you. The collection brings in a multitude of different potential aspects of nightlife, focussing on the lighting and mood created in cocktail bars, while also taking style and silhouette inspiration from shows you could go to such a cabaret and performances from drag queens. A happy hour client, is the night out themselves, they make the night.

THE MARTINI

This women’s wear look consists of an origami technique recycled satin top, digitally printed with tulle accents. Paired with a tailored asymmetric skirt, with a digitally printed tulle hem. Styling pieces include the Martini Bag and the angular patent heels.

CITY LIGHTS

Mens tailored jumpsuit with panels inspired by the origami technique. Silk and wool blend fabric hand painted with strobes to mimic blurred lights of the city. Accessorised with the City Lights Veil and patent loafers.

THE SHAKER

The women’s suit, The Shaker consists of the origami technique reworked into a floating collar and revere. The complete outfit is a digitally printed cotton sateen, with purple tulle on the back and sides of the gathered trousers. Styling pieces include The Shaker Veil and the angular patent heels.

THE CHAMPAGNE SUIT

The men’s suit, this look consists of the origami technique reworked into a floating collar and revere. The Champagne blazer is constructed in the silk wool blend suiting, with digitally printed tulle at the hem. Grey cotton tailored trousers accompany the blazer. Styling pieces include the Martini Bag and the patent loafers.

THE SPRITZER

The showstopper a digitally printed cotton sateen and tulle dress. Using the origami technique on the bodice, creating the print from distorted and blurred pictures of bars. Styling pieces include the Martini Bag and the angular patent heels.
